Client Need:
U.S. Foodservice, one of the largest foodservice providers in the World is having a convention for all of their top C-level executives. The event is their year-end closing event held in conjunction with their next year's corporate objective overview. Over 900 executives and their significant others will be in attendance. 

Solution:
U.S. Foodservice, a multibillion dollar company wanted a major star to highlight this celebration of another year of significant growth along many business units. We provided a very short list of elite, high profile chefs and they eagerly requested Mario Batali. He will execute a cooking demonstration, prepare the evening's menu choices, give a motivational speech, with book signing and meet and greet events afterward.

Result:
Event took place in Florida April 2006.

Case Study : Citigroup Annual Client Appreciation Dinner

Chef : Tyler Florence

Client : Citigroup

Client Need:
Citigroup, an international financial services company, hosts their annual client appreciation dinner. They were in search of a well respected, internationally known celebrity chef to prepare a dinner for 100 top clients from around the world.

Solution:
Keeping in mind Citigroup’s prestigious reputation, we provided them a short list of well known celebrity chefs that would appeal to the diverse audience. The chef needed to have a book, television show or signature product lines. We also kept in mind that the chef should be well traveled to understand the different cultures of Citigroup’s clients.

Result:
After much consideration, the recommendation of Tyler Florence proved to be the perfect fit. He is the host of “Tyler’s Ultimate,” author of multiple cookbooks, and also has a kitchen product line in department stores. Tyler’s international reputation and diverse recipes proved to be Citigroup’s perfect choice!

Case Study : Rheumatoid Arthritis

Client : Bristol Myers Squibb

Client Need:
BMS was in search for a lifestyle/chef who had a tie in with RA. Patients who suffer from RA have difficulty doing their every day activities such as cooking. BMS launched a new product to help Rheumatoid Arthritis patients reduce the symptoms and make their everyday activities easier. The celebrity needed to be a woman and perceived well by the media.

Solution:
PMG chef’s team gathered a select list of lifestyle experts that either suffer from RA or have been strongly influenced by someone with RA. The lifestyle experts have either a show or very well recognized by the public.

Result:
Sandra Lee from “Semi homemade Cooking was the perfect fit. Her grandmother suffered from RA and was a large influence on Sandra in the kitchen. Sandra was a great fit as she was in the process of launching a new book during the time of the campaign and had one of the top rated shows on the Food Network. Sandra did a two day media launch in NYC and appeared on national network morning shows relaying the message about RA in the kitchen. She directed people to the website where she has created recipes that were RA friendly and provided tips to make everyday cooking a little easier.

Case Study : TAP Pharmaceuticals GERD Meals Makeover
                Campaign

Client : TAP Pharmaceuticals

Client Need:
TAP Pharmaceuticals, the leading manufacturer of prescription pharmaceutical products, needed a celebrity chef to stimulate interest in their “GERD Meals makeover” campaign. TAP was searching for a chef who had a diverse cooking style and who could suggest recipes that were GERD friendly. In addition, it was important to find a chef that was experienced in being interviewed for an extensive media tour.

Solution:
Chef2Chef’s consulting team suggested celebrity chefs who were rising to fame yet meet their budgetary needs. In addition, It was important that this chef possess a strong television personality to create a buzz amongst the media.

Result:
Ted Allen from “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” emerged as the perfect fit. His diverse cooking style was perfect when suggesting the GERD friendly recipes. He is currently participating in the media tour traveling throughout the country elaborating on how you can enjoy the excitement of cooking even when suffering from GERD.

Case Study : Kelloggs Corn Flakes, 100thAnniversary

Chef : Daisy Martinez

Client : Kelloggs

Client Need:
Kelloggs was searching for a celebrity chef to assist with a food magazine editor's roundtable which would highlight the 100th Anniversary of Cornflakes. Additionally, Kelloggs wanted the celebrity chef to create several recipes for this anniversary event.

Solution:
Chef2Chef's corporate consulting team earmarked several chefs who currently have television shows airing. As part of our list we presented chefs from the Food Network and PBS. Based on the large percentage of women with children who are purchasers of the product, we focused on celebrity chefs who fit this demographic. Additionally, the client wanted to review a wide array of chefs from various geographic and ethnic backgrounds.

Result:
After a two week search, our recommendation was PBS star Daisy Martinez, host of  the highly acclaimed Daisy Cooks series. Daisy fit several important components of this program, including her geography (lives in New York City), unique style of cooking, various influences including her childhood in Puerto Rico and the fact that she is a mom.
